Abou El Fotouh Farms is a direct agricultural grower and processor established in 1990. We cultivate our own farms in Beheira Governorate, Egypt, and operate processing and cold storage facilities directly on-site.
Our standard minimum order quantity for sea freight is 1 x 40ft High Cube Reefer container (approx. 20–24 Metric Tons depending on product density). Air freight orders for fresh strawberries can be supplied from 1 air pallet.
Crops are grown to GLOBALG.A.P. guidelines, and our cold store and freezing operations are run to BRCGS and ISO 22000 standards. Export batches are sampled and tested at independent accredited laboratories against the maximum residue limits in European Commission Regulation (EC) 396/2005 and those of the destination market. Test reports are issued per lot and available to buyers on request.
Yes. We provide complete private label packaging services for both fresh produce (printed punnets, custom master cartons) and IQF frozen products (custom polybags, printed outer cartons, buyer barcodes, and multi-language nutrition panels).
Our published commercial terms are FOB Alexandria, CFR and CIF. Other terms may be agreed case by case. We handle phytosanitary certificates, EUR.1 / Certificate of Origin, and the export documentation required for the booking.
